As recovery continues in the Philippines, the scale of devastation left by Typhoon Haiyan becomes clear. Over 300,000 homes destroyed, 6,000 lives perished, and 6 million survivors are left homeless without food and shelter. The powerful tropical typhoon also demolished USD 780million worth of infrastructure and crops, making it hard for survivors to move on with their lives.
