甘仲維博士從擔任各大企業的要職包含像是外商Yahoo!奇摩首頁製作人或是國內晶圓製造業龍頭台積電等相關工作，一場突如其來的疾病造成雙眼失明，決定重新出發，重頭學習如何面對嶄新的人生！專業的定向行動，生活自理能力重建與科技輔具的操作，甚至到成為這些領域的專家，進而決定重返校園，善用過去的KNOW HOW 去證明給不暗身心障礙者的相關單位，展現不同身心障礙別的身心障礙者的可能性！透過發表國際性的期刊論文，進行跨產業界的合作，完成博士論文的撰寫，以自身的生命歷程，去鼓勵其他在面對困境與挑戰的朋友們！更針對身心障礙使用者，以及高齡化社會所將面臨的使用者需求與挑戰，成立社會企業，專注開發符合UX的服務及產品。

Mr. Kan served his expertise in the I.T. fields for more than 10 years, from semi-conductor manufacturing industry (TSMC) as project manager. Later on he was recruited by Yahoo! as Front page producer. Meanwhile earning his doctorate degree in National Chiao-Tung University, even though he was suffering from visual impairment. Also Mr. Kan is the founder of Hope of Vision Association and seeking opportunities to help those who are going through the same difficulties thru smart devices solution, UX development, and alternative solutions. Starting a social enterprise applies commercial strategies to maximize users with Disabilities for products and services, which satisfied UX and profits for shareholders.
